Function: Controls Engineering

Your Tasks

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Clarifying technical requirements with the customer
• Preparing technical specifications and documentation
• Developing control concepts and integration solutions
• Monitoring the controls schedule and key deliverables
• Tracking overall project progress and reporting status
• Monitoring controls costs and budget adherence
• Identifying and implementing cost-optimization measures
• Planning and delivering project milestones
• Ensuring customer satisfaction throughout project execution
• Acting as the internal interface to specialist departments
• Coordinating with the controls contractor as the external interface
• Serving as the primary interface to the customer and involved entities

Your Skills

• Degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics, automation engineering, industrial engineering or a comparable technical qualification.

• Several years of experience in controls engineering or project engineering with specific controls and technical skills

• Ability to understand production processes and convert customer requirements into feasible technical solutions.

• Good understanding of controls equipment, automation concepts, safety requirements and system interfaces.

• Strong analytical and structured working style.

• Ability to independently coordinate technical work packages and drive open topics to closure.

• Strong communication, leadership and Time Management skills and confidence in working with customers and international teams.

• Fluent Chinese and English. German is an advantage.

• Willingness to travel to customers, suppliers and other Dürr locations when required
