Project Manager – Core Banking & AML

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager – Core Banking & AML to lead and deliver banking technology projects involving Core Banking, Anti-Money Laundering (AML), transaction monitoring, and financial crime solutions.

The ideal candidate will have strong project management experience within the banking or financial services sector, with the ability to manage cross-functional teams, vendors, technology stakeholders, and business users throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of Core Banking and AML projects from initiation through implementation and go-live.
• Develop and manage project plans, timelines, milestones, resources, and dependencies.
• Coordinate with business teams, IT teams, vendors, system integrators, and senior stakeholders.
• Manage project scope, risks, issues, change requests, and dependencies.
• Oversee system integration, testing, UAT, deployment, and production go-live activities.
• Ensure project deliverables meet business, technical, regulatory, and compliance requirements.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular status reports to management.
• Manage vendor performance, deliverables, and third-party dependencies.
• Facilitate project meetings and ensure timely resolution of critical issues.
• Ensure proper project documentation, governance, and implementation standards are maintained.

Required Skills & Experience

• 6+ years of experience in IT Project Management, preferably within banking or financial services.
• Proven experience managing Core Banking and/or AML projects.
• Strong understanding of AML, transaction monitoring, KYC, and financial crime compliance systems.
• Experience with banking application implementation, integration, or transformation projects.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC, Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies.
• Experience managing UAT, implementation, deployment, and go-live activities.
• Strong stakeholder, vendor, risk, and issue management skills.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and leadership abilities.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification is preferred.

Pay: From E£110,000.00 per month
