The Opportunity

NECTO Search & Selection is working on behalf of a leading consultancy delivering a major hyperscale data centre development in Kristiansand, Norway .

We are seeking an experienced CSA Project Manager to join the project team and lead the delivery and coordination of key Civil, Structural and Architectural (CSA) packages.

This is a long-term opportunity on a significant European data centre programme, with candidates able to work on a rotation basis or relocate permanently to Norway .

While experience working within a consultancy or client-side project management environment is preferred , we are also keen to speak with strong candidates currently working for leading main contractors / GCs.

The Role

As CSA Project Manager, you will manage CSA works through the construction lifecycle, working closely with the client, design teams, contractors, MEP teams, and other project stakeholders.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Manage the delivery of CSA packages across the project.
• Oversee civils, structural, architectural and associated construction activities.
• Coordinate contractors, consultants, designers and key project stakeholders.
• Monitor programme, quality, cost, safety and overall project performance.
• Manage interfaces between CSA, MEP and specialist packages.
• Review design information and identify potential constructability or programme issues.
• Lead progress and coordination meetings with contractors and project stakeholders.
• Track RFIs, technical submissions, design changes and outstanding project actions.
• Support commissioning, completion and handover activities.
• Ensure works are delivered in accordance with project specifications, programme and client expectations.
• Provide clear reporting on progress, risks, programme and key project issues.

Candidate Profile

We would like to speak with candidates who have:

• Previous experience delivering data centres, mission-critical facilities or other technically complex projects .
• Strong knowledge of CSA construction and package management.
• Experience operating at Project Manager, Construction Manager or Senior Project Engineer level.
• A background with a project management consultancy, engineering consultancy or client-side organisation would be particularly attractive.
• Candidates from Tier 1 main contractors / GCs with strong CSA and data centre experience will also be considered.
• Strong commercial, programme and stakeholder-management skills.
• The ability to manage multiple contractors and technical interfaces.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.
• A relevant construction, engineering or technical qualification.
