Project Manager - Custom Millwork

Montbleau & Associates, LLC is seeking an experienced and driven Project Manager to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for full-cycle project management from initial planning to final execution ensuring high-quality delivery on time and within budget. You will be the key point of contact for clients, manage internal teams, and collaborate cross-functionally to bring custom architectural millwork projects to life.

What You’ll Do

Leadership & Oversight:

• Direct and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Lead teams of Assistant Project Managers, Installation Supervisors, and Lead Engineers.
• Assign tasks based on expertise and ensure alignment with project goals.

Project Planning & Execution:

• Define project scope, budgets, timelines, and key deliverables.
• Coordinate with Purchasing and Installation teams to align on materials and manpower scheduling.
• Oversee shop drawings, submittals, and ensure quality control.

Client & Vendor Communication:

• Act as the main liaison with clients, suppliers, and internal departments.
• Manage vendor contracts, insurance, bonds, and related documentation.

Financial Management:

• Monitor budgets and job costs with a focus on accuracy and forecasting.
• Submit and track progress billings and change orders.
• Maintain detailed cost projections and reports using internal systems.

Documentation & Reporting:

Maintain and update critical project documents, including:

• Project schedules.
• Submittal and change order logs.
• Material status reports.
• Installation reports.
• Scope trackers and cost-to-complete reports.
• Provide monthly updates to Project Executives.

Final Deliverables & Closeout:

• Ensure successful project closeout, including punch list completion and submission of warranties, guarantees, and manuals.

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or a related field – or equivalent experience in the construction industry.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• High attention to detail and excellent time management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam Revu, and Foundation (or similar project management/accounting software).

Bonus Points If You Have

• Experience managing large-scale, custom fabrication or millwork projects.
• Familiarity with safety protocols and best practices in on-site construction management.
• Demonstrated ability to handle complex change orders and multi-phase project scheduling.

Travel Requirements

• Must be able to visit project sites as needed.
• Occasional travel may be required depending on project locations.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
