The Opportunity

A leading, independent construction consultancy is looking for a Project Manager to join its growing team in London, supporting the delivery of projects for a data centre client.

This is an opportunity to work within a collaborative, partner-led consultancy, working alongside experienced project leaders, clients, consultants and contractors on complex projects.

The successful candidate will take responsibility for key elements of project delivery, with the opportunity to develop their technical expertise, build strong client relationships and progress their career.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the successful delivery of projects from initial planning and design through to construction, completion and handover.
• Manage and coordinate project activities, programmes, resources and deliverables.
• Work closely with clients, consultants, contractors and internal project teams to achieve project objectives.
• Monitor project progress, risks, quality and commercial performance.
• Support procurement, design management, programme management and project governance.
• Build effective client relationships and contribute to delivering high-quality project outcomes.
• Work alongside senior project leaders, with opportunities to take ownership of project elements and develop leadership capability.

About You

• Experience in project management within the construction or Infrastructure industry, preferably with a consultancy.
• Data centre project experience is strongly preferred.
• Candidates without direct data centre experience will also be considered if they have relevant experience in utilities, power, substations or complex MEP fit-out projects.
• Strong organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Confident communicating with clients and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Degree qualified; MRICS is desirable but not essential, with support available for professional development.
• A proactive approach, attention to detail and an ambition to develop your project management career.
