Project Manager - Data Centres - Expression of Interest

Working within our data centre fit out business, you will support the delivery of projects that require technical excellence, precision and a consistent focus on quality. What You'll Do

• Ensures full compliance of design, engineering, construction, and commissioning processes.
• Add value to the design process by challenging solutions, methods, and techniques where appropriate to deliver works within the contract programme, improve build ability and reduce whole life costs and carbon.
• Understand/ develop/ scrutinise/ deliver/ monitor end to end programme. Responsible for creating Plan Bs in relation to specific package responsibility.
• Active control of commercial and contractual aspects applicable to specific packages under your control. Input and ability to scrutinise financial forecasting and CVR. Input into profit improvement plans for the project.
• Implement and communicate Risk mitigation and steps needed to pursue Opportunities. Ensure that the commercial implications are controlled, allocated and communicated.
• Implementing, managing, recording, and reporting in full accordance with the HSE management systems in place.
• Promote the Skanska safety culture and comply with all relevant safety systems and processes.
• Assist with tender submissions and be aware of and input into the risk profile, contract conditions, budget, opportunities, and route to margin.
• Scrutinise supply chain submissions with full awareness of the procurement strategy. Ensuring T&Cs are back-to-back with Skanska.

We Are Looking For

• Appropriate knowledge and experience to manage multiple disciplines/interfaces and work sequencing.
• Proven track record in successfully delivering within a team large scale MEP contract.
• Formal H&S training accreditations, minimum SMSTS.
• Proven track record in leading teams and projectsExperience and Knowledge in relation to the correct testing and commissioning of the specific package management.
• Line management experience including people development.
