Project Manager (Defense)

About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead multiple high-budget projects in the air defense sector, overseeing all stages and ensuring successful delivery of business, financial, and technical objectives.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple high-budget security projects simultaneously, ensuring they meet scope, timeline, and budget requirements.
• Oversee projects at different life cycle stages, from initiation to closure.
• Coordinate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams.
• Ensure all aspects of project management are addressed, including business, administrative, financial, and technical requirements.
• Negotiate with stakeholders to resolve conflicts and achieve project goals.
• Monitor and report on project progress, risks, and issues to senior management.
• Maintain excellent human relations and ensure high levels of service orientation and productivity.
• Foster a creative and solution-oriented environment to address project challenges.
• Travel within Israel to meet with customers and suppliers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering – required.
• At least 5 years of experience managing complex projects in software-intensive, technology, or product development companies – required.
• Proven experience managing projects that involve software development, systems integration, or multidisciplinary technological products.
• Experience working in a matrix organization with cross-functional engineering and business teams.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycles, project methodologies, and project management tools.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, stakeholders, and interfaces simultaneously.
• Proven experience in managing project budgets, schedules, risks, dependencies, and customer deliverables.
• Strong negotiation, problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and presentation skills.
• High level of ownership, service orientation, and commitment to delivering results.
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, complex, and fast-paced environment.
