About this role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Project Engineer to join our dynamic team. The Project Engineer will play a crucial role in executing, commissioning and drive engineering projects deliverables within our organization. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in engineering principles, and effective communication, factory facility monitoring and management system (FMCS), Energy Management System (EMS), HVAC System, PLC programming, IIOT etc. If you are a working professional, Delta is a great place to get ahead.

Responsibilities

• Apply engineering knowledge to design project solutions and draft proposals.
• Review and approve technical drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
• Manage project commissioning to deliver the full Scope of Work (SOW).
• Oversee procurement of required materials, equipment, and services.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Coordinate internal and external resources for successful execution.
• Identify and mitigate risks impacting project timelines and objectives.
• Communicate with team members to ensure task completion within set timelines and milestones.
• Establish quality control processes, conduct inspections/testing, and implement corrective actions for defects.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to drive project deliverables and address inquiries professionally.
• Provide regular status updates and reports covering achievements, challenges, and milestones.
• Foster a cohesive, collaborative project team environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Automation, Control, Instrumentation, Electronics, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related field).
• Proven experience as a Project Engineer or in a similar engineering role.
• Hands-on software/systems experience (e.g., PLC, HMI, SCADA, IoT).
• Familiarity with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities, high attention to detail, and effective interpersonal/communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Willingness to travel to project sites or client meetings as required.
• Proficiency in Business English both written and spoken.
