Project Manager - Demolition

An immediate opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Manager to join a highly regarded national construction and services contractor within its specialist demolition division.

With a strong pipeline of secured work across Australia, this role offers exposure to a diverse portfolio of projects including commercial, industrial, institutional, residential and high-rise developments. Project values and complexity vary significantly, providing the opportunity to lead challenging and technically demanding demolition works from planning through to delivery. 

The Opportunity
Reporting to senior leadership, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of demolition projects, ensuring safety, program, quality and commercial objectives are achieved.

Key responsibilities include:

• End-to-end project management and delivery
• Programming, planning and scheduling of works
• Budget management and cost control
• Contract administration and subcontractor management
• Procurement and resource coordination
• Stakeholder, client and consultant liaison
• Risk management and compliance oversight
• Driving project outcomes across safety, quality and profitability

About You
To be successful in this role, you will possess:

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Construction, Engineering or a related discipline
• Demonstrated experience delivering major demolition projects
• Exposure to complex building, remediation, civil or construction projects
• Strong commercial acumen and contract administration skills
• Proven leadership and stakeholder management capabilities
• A stable employment history and commitment to project excellence
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills

Candidates with experience in both demolition and major building projects will be highly regarded.
