Job Role: Project Manager – Digital Banking

Location: Qatar

Duration: Yearly Renewable Contract

Position Summary

Responsible for managing end-to-end digital banking projects, including mobile banking, internet banking, digital onboarding, and payments, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, timelines, and QCB regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Planning & Delivery

• Manage end-to-end project planning, execution, timelines, budgets, resources, and delivery using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies.
• Track progress, manage risks and issues, and report project status to senior management.

2. Stakeholder & Vendor Management

• Coordinate business, IT, product, security, risk, compliance, vendors, and FinTech partners.
• Manage vendor deliverables, SLAs, scope changes, and steering committee reporting.

3. Risk, Governance & Compliance

• Maintain RAID logs and ensure compliance with QCB/GCC regulations, cybersecurity, data residency, AML/KYC, and consumer protection requirements.
• Coordinate SIT, UAT, penetration testing, audits, go-live readiness, and project documentation.

4. Budget & Resource Management

• Monitor budgets, forecasts, expenditure, and resource allocation to ensure successful project delivery.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: 5+ years in project management , including 3+ years in digital banking, FinTech, or financial services technology , with at least one mobile or internet banking launch or major release.
• Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, PMI-ACP, or CSM preferred.
• Technical Skills:

Working knowledge of core banking systems, APIs, digital onboarding (eKYC) and payment systems.

Familiarity with SDLC, Agile tooling (Jira, Confluence, MS Project) and testing cycles (SIT, UAT).

• Regulatory Knowledge: QCB/GCC regulations and banking compliance requirements.
• Soft Skills: Strong stakeholder management, vendor coordination, communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Business, Finance, or a related field.
• Languages: Arabic fluency is mandatory ; strong English communication skills are preferred.
