What you’ll be doing:

The Digital Technology team is responsible of PPG Group's Global technology involved for Digital Transformation, MarTech, Loyatly & E-Comm related solutions and projects. For this position, we are seeking an experienced Project Manager with 8–10 years of proven expertise in managing digital technology projects. The candidate should have a strong background in delivering complex, cross-functional initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives and driving digital transformation. This role requires excellent stakeholder management, technical understanding, and leadership skills to oversee projects from initiation to successful delivery.

• The applicant will immediately be responsible for the support for our projects related to Digital Projects.
• Lead end-to-end delivery of digital technology projects, ensuring scope, timelines, and budgets are met.
• Define project plans, milestones, and deliverables in collaboration with business and technical teams.
• Engage with senior executives, business users, and vendors to align project goals with organizational strategy.
• Facilitate clear communication across cross-functional teams and manage expectations effectively.
• Implement project governance frameworks, risk management, and issue resolution processes.
• Monitor progress, prepare executive-ready reports, and escalate challenges with actionable recommendations.
• Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and partners to ensure seamless execution.
• Mentor and guide junior project managers or coordinators, fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration.
• Drive adoption of emerging digital technologies (cloud, data analytics, AI, automation, customer experience platforms).
• Ensure projects contribute to long-term digital strategy and business impact.

About you:

• 8–10 years of experience in project management within digital technologies (e.g., cloud platforms, enterprise applications, data-driven solutions, customer-facing digital products).
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid).
• Proven track record of delivering large-scale, multi-stakeholder projects in complex environments.
• Ability to balance strategic vision with tactical execution.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certifications preferred.
• Highly organized and detail oriented.
• A strong written and verbal communicator, comfortable interacting with colleagues at all levels.
• Proficient in written and spoken English language and fluent communication in Cantonese and Mandarin is a plus
• Able to effectively multi-task and deliver quality results within fast-paced project deliverable deadlines.
• Capability of holistic thinking, being able to connect dots
• Good at building networks, connections, positive collaborations, and consensus.
• Flexible and resilient, ready to face new approaches
• Able to interact with multiple stakeholders at different levels within the organization
• Good team player, able to build relationships at different levels of the organization
• Culture sensitivity. Ability to adapt to is vital.
• Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.

Qualification

• Degree in Engineering or IT related fields.
• 8+ years of experience as Project Manager in IT/digital projects, preferably in MarTech, WhatsApp API, CRM platforms or E-Comm Apps.
• Excellent stakeholder management, documentation and communication skills.
• Hands-on experience working in Project Lifecycle & methodologies. (i.e. Agile/Waterfall models).
• Bonus: Experience with Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO), CDP, Loyalty or similar personalization engines.
• Able to attend to urgent issues outside of official working hours.
