Project Manager – Drone/UAV & EV (Motor) Projects

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead and coordinate our Drone/UAV and Electric Vehicle (EV) Motor projects, from planning and development through testing, regulatory approvals, manufacturing/assembly and deployment. The successful candidate will work closely with engineers, technology partners, suppliers, manufacturers and relevant authorities to ensure projects are delivered according to timeline, budget and requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, manage and monitor the overall Drone/UAV and EV Motor projects, including timelines, budgets, milestones and deliverables.
• Coordinate with engineers, technical teams, suppliers, manufacturers and technology partners to ensure smooth project execution.
• Oversee product development, assembly, system integration, testing and deployment for Drone/UAV and EV projects.
• Coordinate technical requirements including drone hardware/software, batteries, motors, controllers, communication systems and other related components.
• Coordinate prototype development, testing and product improvement with technical teams and partners.
• Plan and coordinate field testing, demonstrations and site operations.
• Coordinate relevant permits, registrations, approvals and regulatory requirements with authorities.
• Manage vendors, suppliers and manufacturers, including quotations, procurement, production schedules and deliverables.
• Monitor project costs, progress, quality and delivery schedules.
• Identify and manage technical, operational, safety and project risks and ensure timely resolution.

About you

• Minimum 3 years of relevant Project Management experience.
• Fluent in Mandarin and English, both spoken and written, is required.
• Experience in Drone/UAV, EV, automotive, aerospace, robotics, engineering, electronics, mechatronics or related technology projects is preferred.
• Experience coordinating technical teams, suppliers, manufacturers and technology partners.
• Strong project planning, coordination, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience managing project timelines, budgets, vendors and deliverables.
• Knowledge of relevant Drone/UAV or EV Motor regulatory requirements is an advantage.
• Willing to travel for project meetings, testing, supplier visits and deployment.
• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Aerospace, Aviation, Automotive, Robotics, Mechatronics, Electronics, IT, Project Management or a related field.
