Project Manager - Engineering / Construction (WFH)

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced, highly organized, and results-driven Project Manager to oversee and optimize day-to-day business operations in a fully remote environment. The Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring operational efficiency, coordinating teams, improving processes, maintaining service quality, and supporting the successful delivery of projects and the fulfillment of client requirements.

This role requires a proactive leader who can manage multiple priorities, solve operational challenges, establish effective systems and processes, and work closely with management, clients, project teams, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.

The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, analytical thinker, and hands-on leader who can take ownership of operations and consistently drive productivity, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage day-to-day business and operational activities to ensure smooth and efficient workflow.

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve operational policies, procedures, systems, and processes.

• Lead, coordinate, and monitor teams to ensure tasks, projects, and deliverables are completed accurately and on time - project estimates, quotations, architectural / engineering drawings, and other deliverables

• Establish operational priorities, allocate resources, and ensure workloads are properly managed.

• Monitor project and operational performance, productivity, deadlines, KPIs, and service delivery standards.

• Prepare and review operational reports, performance summaries, forecasts, and management updates.

• Ensure proper documentation, recordkeeping, and compliance with company policies and operational standards.

• Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and development of operational team members when required.

• Establish clear accountability and ensure team members consistently meet their responsibilities and deadlines.

• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity, quality, client satisfaction, and overall operational performance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field preferred.

• Proven experience as a Project Manager, Engineering Manager, or similar leadership role in professional managed services or engineering, construction, manufacturing, or project-based environments.

• Strong leadership, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Demonstrated ability to manage teams, workflows, and projects while simultaneously managing multiple priorities.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, management, employees, contractors, and other stakeholders.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

• Experience using project management, workflow, CRM, ERP, or business management systems such as Plane, Monday.com, MS Project, or similar platforms.

• Ability to work independently, make sound decisions, and take ownership of responsibilities in a fully remote environment.

• Strong understanding of professional workplace standards, confidentiality, accountability, and client service.
