Project Manager/ Estimator

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the preparation of cost estimates for construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a background in construction and project management, with a proven ability to negotiate contracts and control costs effectively. This role requires project management skills and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely estimates.

Duties

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including labor, materials, equipment, and overhead.
• Utilize software tools to enhance the accuracy of estimates.
• Conduct thorough reviews of project plans and specifications to identify potential risks and opportunities.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and contractors to gather necessary information for accurate pricing.
• Monitor project budgets and implement cost control measures to ensure profitability.
• Provide training and mentorship to Supervisors on best practices in construction.Skills
• Strong negotiation skills with experience in managing contracts effectively.
• In-depth knowledge of construction processes, materials, and pricing strategies.
• Familiarity with cost control techniques and financial management within the construction industry.
• Previous experience in construction site environments is highly desirable.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in preparing estimates.
