Project Manager （ External Supply Organization ）

This role ensures that projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget, while coordinating with external suppliers and internal stakeholders to meet organizational goals and customer requirements.

Main Accountabilities

• Responsible for end-to-end and cross-functional project management activities within ESO (New product introduction, launch, transfers, etc.).
• Manage Value Creation Projects: Oversee ESO-related activities regarding new product development, product transfer, or other specific projects for manufacturing sites.
• Work closely with all internal and external stakeholders to obtain an optimal commercial manufacturing process flow after project completion.
• Prepare project timelines, budgets, and resources. Accountable for the execution of project timelines, budgets, and resources. Define required expertise and request resources as necessary.
• Coordinate Project Activities: Coordinate all project-related activities. Track and report progress across projects by reviewing schedules and due dates, identifying and assessing risks, and assisting teams with mitigations and contingency plans.
• Ensure project team members are properly allocated to the project and accountability is in place to deliver project as per agreed timelines
• Be accountable for updating on project status, risks, issues, and opportunities. Communicate project progress, issues, opportunities, and manage escalations. Prepare reporting to Managing Committees (Steering Committees, Project Committees, Technical Reviews, Project Review Board, Project Gates, Interfaces, Highlights, etc.).
• Collaborate with R&D, GPS, GPO, and other functions for the products assigned. Communicate project status to stakeholders. Provide feedback and critical assessment for incoming change requests, changes in timeline, scope, etc.
• Ensure operational excellence at all phases (launch and after handover). Support suppliers on project activities during development and commercial manufacturing
• Use standard corporate Project Management tools to ensure good Project Management Practices and customize based on business needs.

Required Education / Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Master’s degree or relevant certification (e.g., PMP) is preferred
• +8 years proven experience in project management, preferably within the supply chain or manufacturing sectors. Experience in managing relationships with external suppliers is essential
• Understanding of supply chain management, and industry best practices
