Project Manager ( Fabrication/Metal)

JOB SCOPE

• Manage end-to-end fabrication projects from project award to final delivery and handover.
• Review customer specifications, drawings, and contract requirements.
• Coordinate with engineering, production, procurement, quality assurance, and site teams.
• Monitor fabrication progress and resolve technical or production issues.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project requirements are met. Plan and monitor material procurement and delivery schedules.
• Ensure fabrication work complies with applicable codes, standards, and client specifications. Conduct project meetings and provide regular updates to management and clients.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety, health, and environmental (HSE) requirements.
• Coordinate inspections, testing, and quality documentation. Support installation, site activities, commissioning, and project close-out when required.
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation plans. Ensure projects are completed on schedule while maintaining quality and customer satisfaction.
• Knowledge of metal fabrication processes, welding, structural steel, piping, or pressure vessels.
• Strong project management and planning skills.
• Ability to read engineering and fabrication drawings.

QUALIFICATION

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in metal fabrication, heavy engineering, oil & gas, structural steel, or manufacturing. Experience managing fabrication workshops and multidisciplinary project teams. Project management certification (e.g., PMP or PRINCE2) is an advantage.
