Orion Solutions Group is representing a well-established Michigan electrical contractor with approximately 150 employees and $60 million in annual revenue.

Due to continued growth and a strong backlog of work, our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead large-scale electrical construction projects throughout Southeast Michigan.

This is an opportunity to join a company known for its reputation, stability, and commitment to developing its people. The organization's current President started as a Project Manager and advanced into executive leadership and ownership.

Projects include commercial, healthcare, industrial, institutional, mission-critical, and data center work ranging from renovations and additions to large ground-up construction.

What You'll Do

• Manage electrical construction projects from turnover through closeout
• Lead project planning, scheduling, manpower coordination, and execution
• Build and manage project budgets, forecasts, and Schedule of Values
• Manage billing, cost control, and project financial performance
• Coordinate with owners, general contractors, architects, engineers, vendors, and field leadership
• Review drawings, specifications, contracts, and project requirements
• Develop, price, negotiate, and manage change orders
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and resolve issues
• Support estimating, project buyout, and procurement activities as required

What We're Looking For

• 10+ years of project management experience within electrical construction
• Experience managing commercial, industrial, healthcare, institutional, or mission-critical projects
• Strong understanding of project financials, forecasting, labor planning, and job costing
• Experience with Schedule of Values, progress billing, and change order management
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Strong communication and leadership skills
