We pride ourselves on delivering innovative solutions, driving efficiency, and building strong client relationships. We are currently seeking a skilled Project Manager to join our Houston team.

Position Overview
We are looking for a motivated and experienced Project Manager with a strong background in project execution and delivery. While experience in the oil and gas industry is an asset, it is not required. The ideal candidate will have experience working in or with Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Management (EPCM) companies, demonstrate exceptional leadership and communication skills, and bring a proactive, solutions-driven approach to their work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee projects from initiation through execution and closeout.
  • Coordinate with EPCM teams, clients, and internal stakeholders to ensure project objectives, budgets, and timelines are achieved.
  • Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, and risk management strategies.
  • Monitor project progress and performance, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards, client requirements, and industry regulations.
  • Lead project meetings, provide regular status updates, and maintain clear communication with all stakeholders.
  • Foster a collaborative and motivated project team environment.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Minimum 5 years of project management experience, preferably within the oil and gas industry.
  • Experience working with or within EPCM companies.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles, tools, and best practices.
  • Proven ability to lead teams and manage complex projects.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-starter with a positive, can-do attitude and ability to work independently.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field preferred.

Why Join Equinox Engineering

  • Opportunity to work on high-profile oil and gas projects in Houston, Texas.
  • Collaborative, supportive work environment that values innovation and initiative.
  • Competitive compensation and benefits package.
  • Career growth opportunities with a rapidly expanding engineering company.
