Job Description – Project Delivery Manager (PDM) Role: Project Delivery Manager – SAP BTP Function: BTP Demands & Projects Management Reporting To: Head of BTP Demands & Projects / BTP Portfolio Management Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Project Delivery Manager (PDM) to lead the end-to-end delivery of SAP BTP projects. The role serves as the single point of accountability across Business, Sector IT, BTP CoE teams, Architecture, Governance, Validation, and AMS teams, ensuring predictable, governed, and high-quality project execution. The role requires flexibility to work across Agile Scrum, Waterfall, and Hybrid delivery models. Depending on project requirements, the PDM may also perform Scrum Master responsibilities. Key Responsibilities Demand Intake & Requirement Management Act as the primary coordinator for assigned BTP demands and projects. Drive requirement gathering workshops and ensure requirement completeness and sign-off. Maintain clarity and alignment across all stakeholders. Feasibility, Design & Estimation Coordinate feasibility assessments with Design, Development, Platform, Integration, Architecture, and Governance teams. Facilitate design workshops and demonstrations. Consolidate effort estimates, timelines, capacity plans, and cost inputs. Governance & Project Readiness Coordinate approvals from Business, Sector IT, and BTP leadership. Ensure compliance with governance, architecture, security, validation, and regulatory requirements. Manage dependencies, risks, constraints, and readiness milestones. Build, Test & Deployment Management Oversee project execution during build and testing phases. Conduct regular status reviews and dependency tracking. Manage risks, issues, mitigations, and deployment activities. Coordinate cross-functional teams across ERP and non-ERP landscapes. Knowledge Transfer & Closure Coordinate AMS knowledge transfer and hypercare activities. Ensure smooth transition from project delivery to support. Drive project closure activities, including final reporting and lessons learned. Stakeholder Communication & Reporting Provide regular status updates to business and IT leadership. Maintain project dashboards, risk logs, issue trackers, and action plans. Escalate critical risks and decision points proactively. Required Skills & Competencies Core Skills Strong project delivery and governance expertise. Experience managing complex enterprise-wide programs. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Risk, dependency, and issue management. Experience with Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid delivery methodologies. Functional Knowledge High-level understanding of SAP BTP services and landscape. Experience with enterprise integration environments (ERP, Non-ERP, ABAP). Exposure to governance, security, compliance, and validation-driven
