Project Manager -ICS

Requirements 该职位来源于猎聘 Context & Role Purpose With the ongoing adjustment of business priorities and R&D structure in China, this role is positioned as an end-to-end IC development and delivery project manager, focusing on efficient execution, cross-functional coordination, cost and schedule control, and successful industrialization of products. The R&D Project Manager acts as the single point of ownership for assigned projects, driving programs from early feasibility through tape-out, validation, pilot build and mass production, while ensuring alignment with business objectives, available resources and quality requirements. Key Missions:

• Drive IC development programs from feasibility to mass production in accordance with company development processes
• Ensure on-time, on-cost and on-quality delivery under constrained resource and budget environments
• Act as the central coordination function across R&D, quality, supply chain, manufacturing and commercial teams
• Support business continuity through stable project execution, risk mitigation and cost management Key responsibilities End-to-End Project Ownership
• Lead and manage IC development projects covering pre-study, design, tape-out, packaging, testing, validation, pilot build and mass production
• Define project scope, milestones, deliverables and success criteria based on business priorities
• Establish and maintain integrated project plans and execution roadmap Schedule, Cost & Risk Management
• Define and manage project schedules, budgets and resource plans
• Track cost for development, tape-out, pilot and mass production, ensuring budget compliance
• Identify and assess technical, schedule, resource and supply chain risks early
• Establish risk tracking and mitigation plans, drive cross-functional closure Cross-Functional Coordination
• Coordinate daily work with R&D teams (IC design, validation), packaging, testing, quality and supply chain
• Organize and lead regular project reviews, milestone reviews and management updates
• Align internal stakeholders on priorities, trade-offs and decision-making Mass Production & Industrialization Support
• Drive project readiness for pilot build and mass production release
• Coordinate wafer fab, packaging and test partners during ramp-up phase
• Support production planning, sample preparation and inventory readiness in line with FCST
• Ensure smooth project handover to manufacturing and operation teams Change & Delivery Management
• Manage change requests during development and pre-mass production phases
• Assess impact of changes on cost, lead time, quality and delivery
• Ensure proper documentation and approval according to internal process Process & Continuous Improvement
• Contribute to continuous improvement of project management processes (IPD, PLM, checklists and standards)
• Promote best-practice sharing and standardization within the R&D project management community Requirements: KNOW-HOW

(technical and methodological competencies) Education & Background o Master’s degree in engineering, science or related discipline o Solid understanding of semiconductor / electronics product development lifecycle Professional Experience o Minimum 4–6 years’ experience in project management within semiconductor or electronics industry o Proven experience in IC development projects, including tape-out and mass production ramp-up o Experience in cost control, schedule tracking and cross-functional coordination o Exposure to high-volume manufacturing environment is a strong asset Knowledge & Skills o Good understanding of IC development, packaging, testing and qualification processes o Knowledge / exposure to ASIC or MCU qualification is preferred o Familiarity with IPD, PLM or similar product development processes o Strong planning, communication, coordination and problem-solving skills o Ability to work effectively in a multi-site and international environment Language o Fluent English in both written and spoken communication
