Project Manager III

For our client, we are seeking a Project Manager III to join the team of a leader in the Energy & Utilities space.

This role will drive complex project execution across distributed teams, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, and stakeholder expectations are aligned from planning through delivery. The Project Manager III will partner closely with team leaders, executives, and clients to surface risks, resolve issues, and keep work moving against committed timelines. In this remote position, the individual will also help strengthen project management standards and continuous improvement efforts across the organization.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $100,000 – $120,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Establish project scope and detailed requirements by facilitating and documenting stakeholder sessions
• Identify and manage project issues, risks, and changes effectively
• Communicate regularly with team members to ensure task completion
• Develop comprehensive project plans for scheduling, resources, and budgets in collaboration with team leaders and executives
• Monitor and track project progress against established plans and timelines
• Report project status to stakeholders using various formal and informal communication methods
• Engage in continuous improvement of project management processes and standards

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
• 8+ years of project management experience
• Experience with distributed project teams
• Strong prioritization and organization skills
• Excellent communication skills with all staff levels and clients
• Ability to work extended hours when project deadlines demand it
• Experience with Dynamics 365 or similar ERP systems
