Sweco

Do you want to lead industrial investment projects that contribute to a safer, more efficient and more sustainable future?
We are looking for experienced
Project Managers
to join Sweco’s growing industrial projects organisation.
In this role, you will manage demanding multidisciplinary industrial projects from project development and engineering through implementation, commissioning and handover. Your projects may follow EPCM or similar delivery models and can include a broad range of industrial investments, such as process industry and data centre projects.
At Sweco, you will work closely with clients, contractors, system and equipment suppliers, designers and Sweco’s multidisciplinary project organisation. You will have the opportunity to take responsibility for impactful projects while being supported by a strong network of experts.
The role may require travel within Finland and, depending on the project, internationally.
What Helps You Succeed In This Role
You have a relevant technical degree (BSc, MSc or equivalent engineering qualification) and at least five years of experience in demanding industrial project delivery. This is not a discipline-specific project management role: you have experience leading broad, multidisciplinary project organisations and coordinating interfaces across engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning.
You are able to manage the overall delivery of a complex industrial project, including scope, schedule, budget, risks, reporting and stakeholder collaboration. You can coordinate several technical disciplines and delivery partners, identify and resolve interface issues, and keep the project moving forward towards its objectives.
We Expect You To Have

At least five years of relevant experience in industrial project management or project delivery.

Demonstrated experience in leading multidisciplinary industrial projects during the implementation phase; experience with EPCM or similar industrial project delivery models is an advantage.

Understanding of industrial project development, engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning.

Strong stakeholder-management, communication and collaboration skills.

Fluent written and spoken English; proficiency in Finnish and/or Swedish is an advantage.

What We Offer You

A curious, courageous and supportive Sweco community. At Sweco, we work together with a low hierarchy and a strong culture of trust. You will be surrounded by experienced colleagues who are ready to share their knowledge, challenge ideas constructively and support you when needed.

Meaningful and influential projects. You will lead projects that support the renewal of industry and contribute to a more sustainable society. Our work has a concrete impact on the environment where people live, work and move.

Opportunities to grow and shape your career. We support your professional development through demanding assignments, peer support and the learning opportunities provided by Sweco Academy.

Flexibility for a balanced everyday life. We believe that work and life should support one another. We combine office-based and remote work flexibly according to the needs of the project and the team. As this is a client- and project-driven leadership role, regular on-site work and travel are expected.

Comprehensive employee benefits.  You can tailor parts of your benefits package to suit your individual needs.
