Project Manager (Integrations & Data Migration)

We are actively hiring a Project Manager to lead client-facing integration and data/document migration engagements while bringing strong business analysis skills to drive clear requirements and successful outcomes.
This is a hybrid Project Manager / Business Analyst role. The ideal candidate will own project delivery end-to-end while also gathering requirements directly from clients and translating business needs into actionable technical specifications.
The candidate should have strong experience working with HCM platforms and a solid understanding of APIs, integrations, and data migration processes.

• Key Responsibilities
  • • Own end-to-end project delivery for HCM integration and data/document migration engagements from kickoff through go-live
    • Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and overall delivery quality
    • Serve as the primary day-to-day client contact and maintain proactive communication throughout the engagement
    • Lead discovery sessions with clients to gather business and technical requirements
    • Create and maintain BRDs, functional specifications, discovery documents, RAID logs, status reports, and meeting notes
    • Conduct requirements analysis and contribute to integration solution design, then partner with engineering through implementation to ensure delivery matches scope
    • Build detailed data mapping documents including source-to-target mappings, validation logic, and transformation rules
    • Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications for engineering teams
    • Facilitate kickoff meetings, sprint reviews, UAT sessions, and go-live readiness meetings
    • Identify and escalate project risks including data quality issues, API limitations, and scope creep
  • • Participate in technical discussions related to APIs, integrations, and system connectivity
  • Required Skills & Qualifications
    • Bachelor’s Degree — required for this position.
    • • 5+ years of Project Management experience leading technical HCM integration or data migration projects
      • Hands-on experience with HCM platforms such as Paylocity, ADP, UKG, BambooHR, and Paycor
      • Strong understanding of payroll, benefits, onboarding, employee demographics, and time & attendance domains
      • Experience gathering and documenting requirements directly from business stakeholders
      • Strong knowledge of REST APIs including authentication, endpoints, field mapping, and error handling
      • Ability to participate confidently in technical discussions with engineering teams
      • Experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar project/documentation tools
      • Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies
      • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills
• Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience managing integration-heavy SaaS implementations
  • Experience working with payroll and HR technology ecosystems
  • Knowledge of data migration best practices and validation processes
  • PMP, Scrum Master, or Agile certifications are a plus
