Project Manager (Interior Design)

Key Responsibilities

• Project Leadership & Design Oversight

  • Lead high-profile architectural/interior projects from concept to completion, ensuring design integrity and innovative execution.
  • Oversee comprehensive design and construction documentation packages, driving the overall design vision.

• Team & Resource Management

  • Mentor and guide project teams, fostering a collaborative studio environment.
  • Develop project programmes, manage budgets, and optimize resource allocation in tandem with directors.

• Stakeholder & Consultant Coordination

  • Serve as the primary design lead for client presentations, stakeholder engagements, and user consultations.
  • Coordinate cross-functional specialist consultants (MEP, Lighting, Acoustics, RSE+AP) and maintain project risk registers.

• Commercial & Strategic Management

  • Lead tender processes, value engineering strategies, and contract administration, including change order and claim evaluations.
  • Contribute to strategic studio growth, business development, and client relationship management.

Job Requirements

• Experience & Education

  • Professional degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or related field with a minimum of 7 years post-qualification experience.
  • Proven track record leading complex, large-scale projects, with essential Hong Kong project experience.

• Technical & Operational Expertise

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Strong background in project budget development; experience in contract administration and workplace change management is a plus.
  • Familiarity with sustainability frameworks (LEED, WELL) is highly advantageous.

• Core Competencies

  • Fluent in English (Cantonese/Mandarin is a plus).
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and client liaison capabilities with strong financial acumen.
