Project Manager – Interior Design (Mandarin Speaker)

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee interior design and renovation projects from project commencement to completion.
• Coordinate with clients, designers, contractors, consultants, suppliers and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Develop and monitor project schedules, ensuring projects are completed within agreed timelines.
• Conduct regular site visits and monitor project progress, workmanship and overall site conditions.
• Coordinate site activities, subcontractors, suppliers and manpower requirements.
• Review drawings, specifications, project requirements and identify potential issues or discrepancies.
• Monitor project costs, materials, procurement and overall budget.
• Ensure all works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards and safety requirements.
• Identify project risks, delays and site issues, and implement appropriate solutions.
• Attend project meetings and provide regular progress updates to clients and management.
• Manage variations, defects, rectification works and project handover.
• Ensure proper documentation, project records and progress reports are maintained.
• Maintain good working relationships with clients and project stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Interior Design, Construction, Project Management, Architecture, Quantity Surveying or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of project management experience in interior design, renovation, fit-out or construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of interior fit-out and renovation processes.
• Experience managing contractors, subcontractors and site teams.
• Good understanding of project scheduling, costing, materials and site coordination.
• Strong communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Able to manage multiple projects and work within tight deadlines.
• Willing to travel to project sites when required.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office is an advantage.
• Candidates with experience handling commercial, retail, hospitality or office fit-out projects will be an added advantage.

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
