Project Manager (Johor Bahru)

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the various property developments in Project Office.
• Provide on-site leadership for project team by building and motivating team members to meet project goals, adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones
• Identifying and procuring necessary resources, estimating project budgets, setting project scopes and schedules.
• Liaison with government authorities and agencies to secure all approvals required for planning permission, building plan approval, land matters etc.
• Monitor, track and control outcomes, facilitating project team meetings along the way to ensure performance, progress and to address problems that arise.
• Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence
• Participate in establishing practices, templates, policies, tools to expand and mature these capabilities for the organisation
• Procure adequate resources to achieve project objectives in planned timeframes
• Act as an internal quality control check for the project
• Manage ongoing quality control and participate in quality issue resolution and ensure quality records are raised and maintained as objective evidence of achieving quality requirement
• Mitigates all sorts of project risks with a proper risk response plan and monitors sub-contractors / vendors to ensure delivery on time and on budget.

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering / Architecture / Building / Mechanical & Electrical or equivalent.
• Minimum 8 years working experience in property development.
• Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Has an eye for detail & excellent analytical skills.
• Resourceful, proactive, meticulous and results-oriented.
