Project Manager (Main Con)

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor QS, Drafters, Civil Engineers, and M&E Engineers to ensure effective coordination and smooth project execution.
• Develop and manage project plans, work programmes, schedules, and key milestones to ensure timely completion.
• Monitor project costs, control expenditure, manage contract costs, and minimise budget overruns in collaboration with the QS team.
• Coordinate with Civil, Structural, Architectural, and M&E teams to resolve design issues, review technical drawings, and manage site variations.
• Appoint, coordinate, and monitor subcontractors and suppliers to ensure work quality, progress, and compliance with project requirements.
• Act as the key liaison with clients, architects, consultants, and other project stakeholders.
• Ensure site activities comply with project specifications, quality standards, health and safety regulations, and statutory requirements.
• Identify project risks, delays, and technical issues, and implement appropriate mitigation and corrective actions.
• Monitor overall project progress and provide regular updates to management on schedule, cost, quality, and project issues.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of construction experience, with at least 5 years in Project Management within a main contractor environment.
• Proven experience managing multidisciplinary teams, including QS, Civil, M&E, and technical personnel.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, project planning, contracts, technical drawings, M&E systems, and relevant building regulations.
• Proficient in MS Project, AutoCAD, and other relevant construction/project management software.
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Able to manage multiple priorities and deliver projects within time, cost, quality, and safety requirements.
