What they need
- Develop and manage the overall project plan, taking into consideration the overall project scope, key project components, milestones, and deliverables.
- Develop detailed project plans based on the master project plan, including manpower, construction equipment and machinery, and material requirements, and ensure effective implementation.
- Establish work methods and procedures and supervise subcontractors to ensure that work is carried out in accordance with project requirements, quality standards, and the agreed schedule.
- Plan, assign, and supervise the work of project team members under his/her responsibility to ensure effective and efficient project execution.
- Monitor and review changes and revisions to construction drawings and project schedules, approve relevant reports and documentation, and coordinate with Consultants and Owners to ensure that construction work is carried out correctly and in accordance with the contract requirements and approved project schedule.
- Define safety responsibilities and supervise safety practices and procedures during construction to minimize accidents and ensure compliance with safety requirements.
- Monitor the use and installation of construction materials to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and material requirements.
- Monitor project progress and proactively identify potential issues, risks, and delays in order to implement preventive and corrective actions in a timely manner.
- Demonstrate integrity and lead by example to build trust within the team. Motivate and encourage team members and subordinates to take responsibility for their assigned duties and perform their work effectively.
- Review subcontractors’ progress payment documents to ensure that they are consistent with actual work progress, including claims and other related documents.
- Provide recommendations to the Managing Director and relevant management on cost reduction, quality improvement, work process improvement, and personnel development.
- Obtain project performance certificates or letters of recommendation from Owners/Consultants, as well as certificates documenting safety working hours.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
