Project Manager - MEP (Data Center)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Data Centre Project Manager (MEP) to lead the successful delivery of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) packages for mission-critical data centre projects. This role is responsible for overseeing all phases of project execution, ensuring quality, safety, schedule, cost, and technical requirements are achieved.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage MEP project delivery from design coordination through commissioning and final handover.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of MEP systems.
• Review technical submissions, shop drawings, and design documentation to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, risks, and overall performance to achieve successful project outcomes.
• Oversee procurement activities and support vendor evaluation and subcontractor management.
• Drive quality assurance, testing, commissioning, and operational readiness of critical MEP systems.
• Ensure compliance with HSE regulations, industry standards, and best practices throughout project execution.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to project teams while maintaining strong client and stakeholder relationships.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of experience managing MEP works within large-scale data centre, industrial, or commercial construction projects.
• Proven track record in MEP coordination, construction delivery, testing, and commissioning.
• Strong understanding of international standards and codes, including ASHRAE, NFPA, IEC, and ISO.
• Sound commercial awareness with knowledge of FIDIC or similar contract frameworks.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership capabilities.
• PMP, Chartered Engineer (CEng), LEED, or similar professional certifications will be an advantage.
