Summary

UST is looking for a highly motivated Project Manager - Production Digitalization to lead and deliver digital transformation initiatives within a semiconductor manufacturing environment.

The Opportunity

In this role, you will manage cross-functional projects that improve manufacturing processes through digital technologies such as MES, automation, equipment integration, Industry 4.0 solutions, IoT, and data analytics. You will coordinate international teams, stakeholders, and external partners to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

The ideal candidate combines strong project management capability with a pragmatic, results-oriented mindset and the ability to drive projects successfully in a dynamic production environment.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead production digitalization projects from initiation through implementation and handover.
• Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, resources, risks, dependencies, deliverables, and expected business outcomes.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across manufacturing, engineering, IT, quality, and external vendors.
• Support the implementation of MES, equipment integration, automation, IoT, and data analytics platforms.
• Facilitate project meetings and stakeholder workshops to ensure alignment and informed decision-making.
• Monitor project progress and proactively address risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Ensure adherence to project management standards, processes, and governance requirements.
• Provide regular status updates and reporting to project sponsors and management.
• Promote collaboration and knowledge sharing across global and multicultural teams.

What you need

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Information Technology, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of project management experience in manufacturing, engineering, IT, or industrial environments.
• Experience delivering production digitalization, automation, or Industry 4.0 projects.
• Exposure to semiconductor, electronics, PCB, or another high-tech manufacturing environment.
• Experience working with international and multicultural project teams.
• Proven track record of delivering projects and achieving business objectives.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with technical and business stakeholders.

Required Skills

• Project planning, coordination, execution, governance, risk management, and status reporting.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders simultaneously.
• Structured, solution-oriented approach with proactive problem-solving and issue resolution.
• Leadership of cross-functional and multicultural teams, including influencing without direct authority.
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and production digitalization initiatives.
• Ability to deliver commitments in complex and dynamic environments.

Desired Skills

• Knowledge of MES, manufacturing automation, equipment integration, Industry 4.0, IoT, or manufacturing analytics solutions.
• Project management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, IPMA, Scrum Master, Agile Project Management, or an equivalent certification.

Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Information Technology, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Preferred: recognized project management or Agile certification.
