What they need

We are among the world's leading providers of logistics solutions for the chemical, mineral oil, gas, and food industries, based on our core competencies. As a family business, we stand behind each and every one of our 3,800 employees worldwide. Their skills, commitment, and expertise are the foundation that allows us to always go a step further and consistently deliver the best solutions to our customers. Make something special out of your skills too.

For our location in São Paulo, we are looking for a Project Manager (m/f/d) - Latin America (1-year fixed-term contract, renewable up to 2 years) who embodies what all our employees have in common: always going one step further.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage end-to-end post-merger integration initiatives across Latin America, ensuring a smooth transition and successful integration of acquired businesses
  • Develop and execute comprehensive integration plans, including milestones, governance frameworks, and performance monitoring
  • Coordinate cross-functional integration workstreams across Operations, Finance, HR, IT, Commercial, Legal, Procurement, and Compliance
  • Drive the realization of integration objectives, synergies, and value creation targets while supporting business continuity throughout transition periods
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate integration risks, ensuring timely resolution of issues and challenges
  • Lead strategic regional projects and transformation initiatives, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and in line with business objectives
  • Establish and maintain project governance, reporting structures, KPIs, and success metrics to track performance and progress
  • Prepare and facilitate steering committee meetings, executive reviews, and management presentations
  • Develop and implement change management and communication strategies to support the integration of teams, processes, systems, and cultures
  • Act as a key liaison between Latin America leadership teams and global headquarters, fostering alignment, transparency, and effective decision-making
  • Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and ensure engagement across local, regional, and global functions
  • Monitor integration performance, track synergy realization, identify continuous improvement opportunities, and capture best practices for future integration projects

Your Expertise:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, Economics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; a Master’s degree or MBA is an advantage
  • 7-10 years of professional experience in Project Management, Business Transformation, Management Consulting, M&A Integration, or a comparable environment
  • Proven track record of leading complex cross-functional projects within multinational organizations, ideally including post-merger integration initiatives
  • Experience working across different countries and cultures within Latin America; exposure to logistics, transportation, supply chain, industrial, chemical, or B2B environments is a plus
  • Strong expertise in project and program management, including familiarity with PMI, PMO, Agile, Lean, or similar methodologies
  • Excellent analytical and financial skills with the ability to evaluate business cases, monitor synergies, and drive value creation
  • Strong leadership capabilities, including stakeholder management, change leadership, strategic thinking, problem-solving, and influencing without direct authority
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively at executive level and across diverse cultural environments
  • Fluent English and Portuguese are required; Spanish and additional languages are considered an asset
  • Willingness to travel approximately 25% within the São Paulo region and up to 5% internationally across Latin America and to global headquarters
