Project Manager – MPF Digital Project Delivery (MPF Project Experience)

Reporting to the Team Head, the incumbent will oversee quality management activities within a large-scale technology platform project. This role is responsible for ensuring robust quality governance, effective vendor oversight, and continuous improvement of project processes and deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

Support the General Manager in establishing, managing, and embedding delivery plans for one or more workstream elements within the overall organization programme.

Apply standard project management methodologies and governance practices, including:

• Progress tracking and reporting
• Project plan management
• Dependency management
• Resource allocation and smoothing
• Risk, issue, and assumption management
• Budget monitoring and control

Coordinate across multiple internal and external workstreams, including technology, process design, operations, vendor management, and commercial delivery.

Ensure timely, clear, and effective communication across programme workstreams and with internal and external stakeholders.

Drive, monitor, and report project delivery progress across all stages of the project lifecycle.

Proactively identify, assess, manage, and escalate risks and issues to maximise successful project delivery.

Manage indirect delivery teams, including internal resources, business users, and third-party vendors.

Support testing, implementation, transition, and post-implementation activities for complex digital projects.

Ensure project deliverables are aligned with programme objectives, governance standards, quality expectations, and regulatory or business requirements.

Perform any other duties, tasks, and activities necessary to support successful programme delivery.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related disciplines.

Professional project management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent is an advantage.

Minimum 8 years of relevant project management experience, preferably within the MPF industry, financial services, public sector, or large-scale technology programme environment.

Hands-on MPF project management experience is a must.

Proven experience in managing full project lifecycle delivery of complex digital or technology-driven projects, particularly in testing, implementation, and rollout stages.

Experience in managing vendors or third-party suppliers for complex large-scale projects or sub-projects is highly preferred.

Strong internal and external stakeholder management skills.

Solid experience in project governance, planning, risk management, issue resolution, dependency management, and progress reporting.

Highly structured, proactive, analytical, positive, and delivery-driven.

Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Able to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced programme environment.

Good command of both spoken and written Chinese and English.
