ABOUT US
Elevation Capital is a group of internationally impactful companies spanning various industries, including consumer packaged goods, hospitality, technology, real estate, non-profit, and venture funding. The business is globally active, with interests across the US, Canada, Europe, and the Caribbean. Our mission is to create and deploy capital for a better world, supported by a team of capable executives and an entrepreneurial founder.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

As Project Manager - Caribbean Luxury Development, you'll oversee a luxury waterfront development in the Bahamas. This includes dock extension, dredging, and custom residential construction on the coast. You'll work with local contractors and permitting bodies to ensure progress despite the challenges of the Caribbean labor environment. You'll own the execution of the project while reporting directly to the VP of Land Development.

WHO YOU ARE

  • Island builder - experienced with Caribbean or international builds in remote/coastal locations
  • Detail-focused leader - tracks budgets, contractor scope, and scheduling nuances
  • Contractor whisperer - skilled in managing unstructured labor markets where communication and follow-up are everything
  • Field-savvy coordinator - understands weather delays, import logistics, and vendor reliability risks
  • Persistent executor - follows up relentlessly, builds relationships, and gets results despite red tape

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage execution of Caribbean dock extension, luxury home construction, and coastal infrastructure
  • Navigate local permitting and inspections with government officials
  • Vet and manage local contractors with frequent follow-ups and documentation
  • Track project milestones, costs, and delivery timelines
  • Proactively escalate issues and coordinate contingency plans
  • Ensure safety, quality, and compliance with U.S. and Bahamian regulations

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

  • 5+ years in international, island, or coastal construction project management
  • Experience managing vendors and labor in the Caribbean or similar regions
  • Demonstrated success navigating unpredictable labor conditions and delays
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Experience coordinating marine work (e.g., dock construction, dredging) a plus
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Willingness to work in the Bahamas on rotation as needed

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
An aggressive base salary will be provided in this position, with an additional lucrative bonus plan based on performance. Full medical benefits are provided as part of this role. Options/equity will be provided to suitable candidates after completion of the first 90 days. This role also provides the opportunity for advancement in role, function, and pay.
