Project Manager (Operations)

Role Responsibilities

• Ensure software applications and services run smoothly day-to-day, including 24x7 support through well-planned duty rosters and backup coverage.
• Identify and understand business needs, gathering, validating, and analysing requirements to shape effective solutions.
• Own project delivery end-to-end — managing scope, schedule, cost, and resources, while developing user stories, functional requirements, and acceptance criteria.
• Drive agile delivery through backlog refinement, impact analysis, acceptance testing, and facilitation of sprint ceremonies (planning, daily scrum, review, retrospective).
• Ensure systems and products are ready for smooth deployment, adoption, and operations, backed by complete documentation.
• Continuously propose improvements to keep pace with evolving business needs, while engaging stakeholders to align and manage expectations.
• Monitor team workload and performance, supporting the team's growth and delivery quality.
• Prepare and present monthly maintenance reports to customers.
• Manage the Service Request lifecycle — gathering requirements, partnering with the Technical Lead on impact analysis and effort estimation, presenting solutions to customers, and working with Sales on the Service Request form.
• Understand SLA requirements and contract scope (in-scope vs. out-of-scope) to deliver Service Requests and resolve issues within agreed timelines.

Role Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience as a Project Manager, including at least 3 years in an Ops role, with hands-on experience in IT business analysis, solutioning, and testing.
• Has participated in at least one full software or product development cycle, with solid knowledge of Agile methodology and design thinking.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret requirements and translate them into technical implementation.
• A collaborative team player who takes ownership, engages stakeholders effectively, and manages expectations with ease.
• Detail-oriented, data-driven, and customer-focused, with strong business acumen and documentation skills.
• Comfortable working under pressure to meet tight deadlines, with minimal supervision, and adaptable to change.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to confidently present (in English) to customers

Preference:

• Project Management (eg. PMP) or Agile (eg. CSM or CSPO) Certification.
• Use of Confluence and JIRA for managing projects collaboratively.
• Experience working on Singapore Government Agency Projects
• Cloud experience such as AWS
• Fluent in the use of AI & Product thinking mindset
