What they need
Ready to take the next step in your Fire career, or looking for a Project Manager role where you will have the right people around you?
Based in Alice Springs, this opportunity will see you manage commercial Fire installation projects ranging from minor works to $1.5 million.
Whether your background is Wet Fire, Dry Fire or both, you can build on your existing knowledge while broadening your experience across different areas of Fire.
This opportunity is equally suited to an experienced Project Manager or a strong Fire Supervisor or Team Leader ready to take the next step in their career.
The Opportunity
You will take ownership of commercial Fire installation projects from planning through to completion and handover, working closely with clients, site teams, subcontractors and other project stakeholders.
You will be joining an established business with a strong presence across the Northern Territory and a highly accomplished Alice Springs team. You will have autonomy in your role, backed by people who will share their knowledge, support your development and help you achieve your goals.
With projects varying in size and scope across Wet and Dry Fire, there is plenty of opportunity to broaden your knowledge and continue developing your project management experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage commercial Fire installation projects from planning through to handover.
- Coordinate labour, subcontractors, materials and project resources.
- Manage project schedules, costs, procurement and variations.
- Attend site meetings and coordinate clients and project stakeholders.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors and suppliers.
- Monitor project progress and resolve issues throughout delivery.
- Ensure work meets relevant Australian Standards and compliance requirements.
- Deliver projects safely, efficiently and commercially.
About You
Your experience will ideally include:
- Experience within the Fire industry, gained with a Fire contractor.
- Wet Fire, Dry Fire or combined Fire experience.
- Project Management experience, or Fire supervisory/team leadership experience with the capability to step up.
- Experience coordinating installation work, labour and subcontractors.
- Good commercial awareness across project costs, variations and resource planning.
- Strong communication, organisation and stakeholder management skills.
- Knowledge of relevant Australian Standards and compliance requirements.
- Current NT driver's licence and full Australian working rights.
If you have built solid experience within the Fire industry and are ready for greater responsibility, this is an opportunity to progress within an established team that will support you to succeed.
