Project Manager | Software Development

About the Role

We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Project Manager to oversee software development projects from kickoff through successful delivery.

You'll be managing multiple client projects involving SaaS platforms, AI-powered applications, business automation, and third-party integrations. This role requires someone who can confidently communicate with clients, coordinate with developers and QA, manage timelines, and ensure projects stay on track.

We're a small, fast-moving development agency, so we're looking for someone who takes ownership, stays organized, and can independently manage day-to-day project operations.

What You'll Do

• Manage software development projects from kickoff through deployment and client handover.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates, addressing concerns, and managing expectations.

• Coordinate with developers and QA to ensure tasks, tickets, and deliverables are completed on schedule.

• Monitor project timelines, milestones, priorities, and potential blockers.

• Conduct client meetings, kickoff calls, and progress discussions.

• Track development tickets, QA results, bug fixes, and deployment readiness.

• Proactively identify project risks, communicate delays, and coordinate resolutions.

• Maintain project documentation, meeting notes, action items, and status reports.

• Ensure completed work aligns with the agreed project scope and client expectations.

What We're Looking For

• At least 1.5 years of experience in Project Management, preferably in a software development agency or IT environment.
• Experience managing multiple projects and coordinating with developers, QA, and clients.
• Good understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies
• Familiarity with project management tools such as Trello, or similar platforms.
• Ability to understand technical discussions and communicate requirements clearly between clients and developers.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and follow through on commitments.

Nice to Have

• Experience managing SaaS, AI-powered applications, API integrations, or automation projects.
• Familiarity with Claude Code, ChatGPT, and other AI-assisted development tools.
• Basic understanding of frontend, backend, databases, APIs, and cloud deployments.
• Experience working directly with U.S.-based clients.

Working Hours

This is a full-time remote position working Eastern Time (ET) hours. Applicants based in the Philippines should be comfortable working night-shift schedule (PHT) aligned with our U.S.-based clients.
