Project Manager – Payroll Implementation (Contract)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager – Payroll Integration to lead the Thailand payroll integration project.

The role will act as the key local project lead, working closely with the P&C/Payroll, IT, regional project team and local payroll vendor to ensure successful integration from requirements and design through testing, parallel payroll runs, and go-live.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on payroll knowledge, experience in HRIS/payroll system integration, and strong project management and stakeholder coordination skills. Experience with MSPS, SAP, Workday, or similar HR/payroll systems would be an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

·       Lead the payroll integration project from planning through go-live.

·       Coordinate with P&C/Payroll, IT, regional teams and local payroll vendor to ensure project alignment and delivery.

·       Define and validate payroll requirements, data mapping, interfaces, and data flows between systems.

·       Lead SIT, UAT, parallel payroll testing, data migration, and cutover activities.

·       Monitor project timeline, risks, issues, and dependencies, and drive timely resolution.

·       Ensure the integrated solution supports Thai payroll processes and statutory requirements.

·       Provide regular project updates to regional stakeholders and effectively coordinate with local teams and vendors.

·       Support go-live and post-go-live stabilization to ensure smooth payroll operations.

Requirements

·       3+ years of experience in payroll implementation, payroll transformation, or HRIS/payroll integration.

·       Strong knowledge of Thailand payroll processes and statutory requirements.

·       Experience with HRIS/Payroll systems.

·       Experience in system integration, data mapping, UAT, parallel payroll testing, and go-live.

·       Strong project management and stakeholder coordination skills.

·       Experience working with P&C/HR, IT, and external vendors.

·       Good command of Thai and English (spoken and written) — required, as the role involves liaising with local vendors/stakeholders in Thai and reporting to regional teams in English.

·       Able to work independently and manage projects in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
