Project Manager – Process Automation (PMP Certified)

We are seeking a PMP-certified Project Manager to oversee the end-to-end delivery of Process Automation & System Integration projects. In this role, your primary focus will be commercial, stakeholder, schedule, and resource management—driving turnkey projects from kickoff to final site handover on time and within budget.

The ideal candidate is PMP-certified with experience in SCADA/PLC, data center projects, and possesses strong leadership, problem-solving, and client management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• End-to-End Project Ownership: Direct project execution, scope baseline, budget tracking, and schedule control from award through commissioning and final acceptance.
• Stakeholder & Client Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, main contractors, and internal management; manage change requests and expectations proactively.
• Commercial & Financial Control: Track project P&L, manage variations, negotiate vendor/subcontractor terms, and trace project cash flow.
• Risk & Schedule Management: Identify project risks early, develop mitigation strategies, and maintain critical path schedules.
• Cross-functional Coordination: Lead and align internal engineering teams (hardware, control systems, field technicians) and site subcontractors to ensure seamless project delivery.

Key Requirements:

• Certification: Active PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is required.
• Industry Experience: Proven track record managing Process Automation, DCS/PLC/SCADA integration, or Industrial Infrastructure / Data Center turnkey projects.
• Project Delivery Focus: Strong mastery of traditional project management frameworks (Agile Preferred).
• Vendor & Subcontractor Management: Experience overseeing third-party vendors, site contractors, and equipment suppliers.
• Communication Skills: Excellent proficiency in English and Malay. Fluency in Mandarin is highly preferred due to close collaboration with Mandarin-speaking clients and partners.
• Mobility: Willingness to travel to project sites or be based on site periodically as required by project milestones.

Desirable / Advantageous Skills:

• High-level familiarity with industrial platforms (e.g., Allen Bradley PLC, Ignition SCADA, DCS systems) to effectively communicate with engineering leads.
• Experience in Data Center infrastructure or energy management projects.
