Job Description: Project Manager/Project Coordinator

An established 53-year-old company is currently seeking project managers and project coordinators for commercial waterproofing & concrete repair projects – both new construction and restoration/remedial repair - in the Dallas/Ft. Worth.

We are looking for individuals who can have the ability not to multitask and can manage the project schedule, job costs as well as the coordination of contract requirements of the job. The successful applicants must be able to identify causes of project cost variances while working with the team to eliminate negative cost impacts and potential cost risks. The ability to communicate clearly and effectively through both written and verbal means is essential. We are looking for someone who will take ownership of a project and make sure it is handled right the first time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage project schedules and budgets
• Material selection and submittals for projects
• Participate in Scheduling meetings
• Identify potential project safety and construction related risks and inform/work with the team to eliminate them
• Communicate scope of work and quality standards required to all on the project team for projects you are responsible
• Work with QA/QC inspectors to make sure projects are inspected and reviewed and have been completed correctly
• Follow company safety programs, laws, and OSHA operating standards with a “safety first” attitude

Qualifications:

• Construction science or related degree preferred
• Construction field management experience preferred
• Self-motivated, self-regulating
• Strong follow-up skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to establish and maintain good relationships
• Will train
