Role Overview

The Residential Project Manager is the operational leader for each job, guiding projects from pre-construction planning to final budget and quality review while supporting field crews and client expectations.

Client & Communication Management

• Lead client communication through selections, project execution, and change orders.
• Maintain and share weekly updates with staff and clients.
• Take clear notes at internal meetings and issue follow-up action items.

Planning & Operations

• Run pre-construction site meetings.
• Coordinate daily labor planning and conduct jobsite meetings with the crew.
• Facilitate budget and quality meetings.
• Maintain checklists for all phases of construction.

Financial & Material Control

• Prepare time and cost breakdowns for change orders.
• Minimize material runs through proactive planning.
• Build and manage material order lists.

Field & Compliance Leadership

• Direct labor, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Build and manage labor punch lists.
• Maintain fluency in residential building and energy codes.

Qualifications

Required:

• 5+ years managing teams in residential construction.
• 5+ years carpentry experience.
• Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills
• Proficiency in Google Suite, and email
• Experience with project management software is a plus.
• Desire to continue learning and teaching on and off the jobsite

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
