Senior-level candidates should also have experience leading project teams, managing complex projects, and supporting overall project operations.

Compensation will be negotiable based on qualifications, experience, and the level of responsibility.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, manage, and coordinate commercial electrical construction projects from startup through completion and closeout.

  • Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, material procurement, and project documentation.
  • Monitor job costs, labor productivity, material expenses, and project profitability while identifying potential risks and cost overruns.
  • Lead project meetings, track milestones, and proactively address construction delays, scheduling conflicts, and unforeseen challenges.
  • Oversee quality control, jobsite progress, and compliance with company policies, the National Electrical Code (NEC), applicable regulations, and safety standards.
  • Maintain strong client relationships through effective communication, problem-solving, and consistent project updates.
  • Coordinate project billing, progress documentation, and final closeout requirements.
  • For senior-level candidates, provide leadership and guidance to project managers and project teams, oversee multiple projects as needed, and support operational planning and process improvements.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Demonstrated experience managing commercial electrical construction projects from start to finish.
  • Strong understanding of commercial electrical systems, construction methods, electrical drawings, and specifications.
  • Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable construction and safety regulations.
  • Proven experience with project scheduling, budgeting, cost control, forecasting, procurement, and contract administration.
  • Experience managing RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining project quality, schedule, and profitability.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, Prolog, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar platforms.
  • Hands-on understanding of construction site operations and coordination with field teams.
