Project Manager - SR. PM

About the Opportunity

Discover International is partnering with an established organization within the pharmaceutical development and manufacturing sector to recruit an experienced Project Manager.

This position offers the opportunity to oversee complex client programs, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and play a key role in ensuring the successful execution of projects within a regulated environment.

The successful candidate will bring strong project management capabilities, excellent stakeholder communication skills, and experience supporting pharmaceutical or biotechnology development and manufacturing activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects throughout their lifecycle, ensuring successful delivery against agreed timelines, budgets, and objectives
• Serve as a primary point of contact for external clients, maintaining effective communication and strong working relationships
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project priorities and deliverables
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and risk assessments
• Lead internal and external project meetings, providing clear updates on progress and key milestones
• Identify and proactively resolve project risks, challenges, and changes in scope
• Monitor project performance and financials, ensuring alignment with contractual commitments
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support continuous improvement and customer satisfaction

Candidate Requirements

• 6+ years of project management experience within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or contract manufacturing industries
• Previous experience managing external client projects within a CDMO or CMO environment preferred
• Strong understanding of regulated development and manufacturing environments, including GMP
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
• Experience overseeing project budgets, timelines, scope, and stakeholder expectations
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Experience with project management software and reporting tools
• Relevant scientific or technical degree preferred
• PMP certification advantageous
