  • Coordinate with appointed designers, principal designers, contractors and principal contractors to facilitate compliance with CDM 2024.
  • Ensure appropriate construction safety planning, risk management, design coordination and statutory documentation are incorporated throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Liaise with relevant regulatory bodies and authorities, including local authorities, DOSH, CIDB and utility agencies, on statutory compliance matters.

  • Coordinate inspections, quality assessments, defect rectification and preventive measures to achieve the project's quality objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with approved specifications, construction tolerances, relevant Malaysian Standards and good construction practices.

5. Authority Approvals & Project Handover

  • Coordinate development submissions, technical approvals and compliance requirements with relevant authorities and agencies.
  • Monitor statutory approval conditions and ensure their timely fulfilment.
  • Drive project completion, testing and commissioning, Certificate of Completion and Compliance (CCC), Vacant Possession (VP) and handover processes.
  • Manage defects rectification during the Defect Liability Period (DLP).

6. Contract, Cost & Procurement Management

  • Monitor project budgets, procurement schedules, contractual obligations and cost implications arising from design or construction changes.
  • Review and coordinate variation orders, progress claims, extension-of-time matters and contractor performance.
  • Work closely with the Contract and Procurement teams to ensure timely appointment of contractors, material procurement and delivery.
  • Provide regular project progress reports, financial updates, risk assessments and recovery plans to Management.
