Project Manager – Utility-Scale Renewable Energy

Remote (US) | 50%+ Travel | $150,000–$200,000 Base + Bonus

About the Opportunity

We are partnering with a leading renewable energy EPC company seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of utility-scale solar PV, battery energy storage (BESS), and repowering projects across the Southwest.

This is a fully remote position with 50%+ travel to active construction sites. It offers the opportunity to take ownership of major energy infrastructure projects from pre-construction through construction, commissioning, and final closeout, working alongside multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, reliable, and commercially successful projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead project teams throughout the full project lifecycle, from pre-construction through commissioning and closeout.
• Own project scope, schedule, budget, cost forecasting, quality, safety, risk mitigation, and contractual commitments.
• Develop and execute project plans, forecasts, schedules, and risk management strategies.
• Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and other cross-functional activities to maintain project milestones.
• Manage relationships with customers, subcontractors, vendors, utilities, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
• Identify and resolve project challenges, making timely commercial and operational decisions to protect project outcomes.
• Lead project meetings, communicate progress and risks, and maintain accountability across project teams.
• Support a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with project requirements, contracts, and applicable regulations.
• Build effective working relationships with customers and project partners to support successful delivery and future business opportunities.

Required Experience

• Experience managing large-scale EPC, infrastructure, industrial, utility, or renewable energy projects, ideally valued in the hundreds of millions of dollars.
• Demonstrated ownership of project scope, schedule, cost, forecasting, risk, contracts, and customer commitments.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary project teams and coordinating subcontractors, vendors, and other project stakeholders.
• Strong commercial judgment, problem-solving skills, and the ability to make decisions that balance cost, schedule, risk, and quality.
• Valid US driver's license.
• Permanent US work authorization without current or future employer visa sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

• EPC experience in utility-scale solar, wind, battery energy storage, conventional power generation, or industrial projects.
• Experience with self-perform construction execution on large or complex projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related field.
• PMP, CCM, PE, or other relevant project management or construction certification.
• Experience supporting project pursuits, estimating, business development, or repeat customer relationships.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary: $150,000–$200,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
• Additional compensation: Eligible for variable bonus.

Work Arrangement

• Fully remote within the US.
