Role: Project Manager - Warehouse Racking & Automation

Location: Leeds, some travel required across the UK

Duration: 3 months

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of warehouse storage, racking, and automation projects.

This is an excellent opportunity for a project professional with proven experience managing warehouse racking installations, storage solutions, mezzanine projects, warehouse fit-outs, and automated warehouse systems. Experience delivering projects involving ASRS, conveyors, robotics, material handling equipment, or warehouse automation technologies is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end delivery of warehouse storage, racking, and automation projects.
• Coordinate customers, suppliers, contractors, and installation teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Develop and manage project plans, budgets, timelines, and resources.
• Oversee warehouse racking, shelving, mezzanine, and storage system installations.
• Ensure all projects comply with Health & Safety, CDM regulations, and company standards.
• Manage project risks, variations, and commercial performance.
• Provide regular project updates and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Lead project handovers, documentation, and final sign-off.

Essential Experience

• Must have a valid green or gold CSCS card
• Proven project management experience within warehouse, industrial, construction, fit-out, or storage system environments.
• Demonstrable experience delivering warehouse racking and storage solution projects.
• Experience managing projects involving automated warehouse systems, intralogistics solutions, or material handling equipment.
• Strong stakeholder and customer management skills.
• Commercially aware with experience managing budgets and project costs.
• Good understanding of site-based Health & Safety requirements.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.

Desirable

• Experience with ASRS, conveyors, sortation systems, robotics, or warehouse automation technologies.
• Knowledge of SEMA guidelines and warehouse racking standards.
• PRINCE2, APM, or PMP qualification.
• IOSH, NEBOSH, or CSCS certification.
