Project Manager – Water Infrastructure

About us

Waste Water Services is a leading Western Australian provider of water and wastewater treatment solutions, specialising in the design, construction, commissioning, and long-term servicing of critical water infrastructure across mining, industrial, municipal, and remote communities. With a strong reputation for practical engineering, operational reliability, and lifecycle support, the business delivers complex treatment plants, pump stations, pipelines, and asset management services throughout WA. As part of the Vysarn group, Waste Water Services benefits from the scale, governance, and multidisciplinary capability of a diversified water and environmental services organisation, enabling it to undertake larger, more complex projects while maintaining a strong focus on safety, compliance, and delivery certainty for Tier-1 clients including major resource companies and government authorities.

We are seeking two experienced Project Managers to join a well-established Design & Construct contractor with a strong track record delivering complex water infrastructure projects across Western Australia. Following recent project awards, there is an immediate requirement to support projects across the Perth metropolitan area and regional WA.

This role would suit either:

  • A Senior Project Engineer ready to step into a Project Manager role, or
  • An established Project Manager with demonstrated experience delivering water infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of project delivery from planning and mobilisation through to commissioning and close-out.
  • Lead and coordinate project teams to ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
  • Oversee project cost control, programme management, quality assurance, and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual, safety, environmental, and quality requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement across project delivery and site execution.

Skills & Experience

  • Full Australian working rights.
  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or similar)
  • Current White Card and valid Australian driver’s licence.
  • Experience delivering projects for Water Corporation, Rio Tinto or similar Tier 1 and government clients will be highly regarded
  • Demonstrated experience on water infrastructure projects, including pump stations, pipelines, and associated civil works.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management capability.
