Project Manager (Website)

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Project Manager to lead the development and implementation of our e-commerce website. As the Project Manager for our e-commerce website, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire project life cycle, from planning and development to launch and post-launch optimization. Your expertise in e-commerce website development, combined with strong project management skills, will be essential in delivering a seamless and customer-centric online shopping experience.

Responsibilities:

• Project Planning: Collaborate with stakeholders and clients to define the scope, objectives, and requirements of the e-commerce website project. Develop a comprehensive project plan, including timelines, resource allocation, and key milestones.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Work closely with the design, development, content, and marketing teams to ensure seamless coordination and communication throughout the project.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks throughout the project and develop contingency plans to mitigate them effectively.
• Website Development: Oversee the design and development of the e-commerce website, ensuring that it meets industry standards, is user-friendly, and optimized for both desktop and mobile devices.
• Content Management: Coordinate with the content team to ensure timely and accurate content updates, including product listings, descriptions, images, and other relevant information.
• User Experience (UX) Optimization: Collaborate with designers and developers to enhance the website's user experience, ensuring easy navigation, smooth checkout process, and overall customer satisfaction.
• Payment and Security Integration (If Any): Ensure secure payment gateways and robust security measures are implemented to safeguard customer data and build trust.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct rigorous testing and quality assurance to identify and resolve any website issues or bugs before launch.
• Website Launch: Plan and execute the successful launch of the e-commerce website, ensuring all systems are operational and monitored.
• Performance Monitoring: Implement analytics and tracking tools to monitor website performance and user behavior. Use data insights to identify areas for improvement and optimize website performance.
• Post-Launch Optimization: Continuously improve the website based on user feedback and data analysis, implementing enhancements to boost conversion rates and user satisfaction.
• E-commerce Platform Selection: Assist in the evaluation and selection of the appropriate e-commerce platform that aligns with the company's goals and requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field. Advanced degrees and relevant certifications are a plus.
• Proven experience as a Project Manager in e-commerce website development, with a successful track record of delivering high-quality websites on time and within budget.
• In-depth knowledge of e-commerce platforms, content management systems (CMS), and web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design.
• Familiarity with UX/UI principles and best practices for e-commerce websites, with a focus on optimizing user engagement and conversion rates.
• Strong project management skills, including planning, organizing, and leading cross-functional teams.
