Project manager - Wholesale projects

• Spearhead the end-to-end delivery of complex wholesale projects, from initiation and planning through execution, monitoring, and closure, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives.
• Develop and meticulously manage project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk assessments, specifically tailored to the nuances of wholesale operations.
• Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders across sales, operations, IT, finance, and external vendors to ensure seamless project progression and buy-in.
• Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues, developing contingency plans to safeguard project success within the wholesale environment.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Senior/Mid Project manager experienced with end to end Project delivery and C-level senior management reporting (IT/Business Steering Committee).
• PMP or equivalent certification
• Work experience of banking sector in UAE in the area of Payments/Core.
• Experience with Core platform, Limit management system, Trade, Treasury, payment platform related projects is a plus
• Ensure programs meet all regulatory, compliance, and internal control requirements (e.g., SWIFT, KYC/AML).
• Familiarity with compliance mandates (CBUAE, FATF, KYC/AML) and cybersecurity standards
• Should have a Technical background (IT related) with understanding of technologies like cloud, ETL tools etc
• Min. 16 years of Banking experience out of which 6-7 years with UAE based Banks is preferable
