Project Manager with Project Cargo Experience

WE ARE HIRING: PROJECT MANAGER

The Rigging Corporation is looking for an experienced and driven Project Manager to lead the planning and execution of heavy-lift, logistics transport, and project-cargo operations.

This role is ideal for a professional who can manage complex site activities, coordinate multiple stakeholders, and ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and oversee end-to-end project execution, from mobilization through completion.
• Manage logistics transport activities, including route planning, equipment deployment, permits, scheduling, and site coordination.
• Lead project-cargo movements, including heavy lift, oversized, and specialized cargo requirements.
• Coordinate closely with clients, subcontractors, government agencies, suppliers, drivers, operators, and internal operations teams.
• Prepare and monitor project schedules, manpower and equipment requirements, cost estimates, progress reports, and project documentation.
• Identify project risks and implement practical solutions to ensure safety, quality, timeline, and budget compliance.
• Ensure all activities comply with company standards, client requirements, and applicable safety regulations.
• Provide regular project updates and promptly escalate critical operational concerns.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering or technical field.
• Proven experience in project management, preferably within heavy lift, construction, logistics, transport, or industrial operations.
• Strong background in logistics transport management and project cargo handling is required.
• Knowledge of route surveys, transport permits, equipment planning, lifting operations, and site coordination is an advantage.
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to travel and be assigned to project sites as required.
