Project Manager/Estimator

Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Project Manager/Estimator to lead and coordinate complex infrastructure projects from conception through completion. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage project scopes, develop accurate estimates, and oversee construction schedules while ensuring compliance with all safety and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive construction experience, and proficiency with industry-standard project management and estimating software. Office hours may vary depending on project needs, with shifts typically ranging from 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM or 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Some weekend work or overtime may be required based on project demands and scheduling needs.

Duties

• Prepare detailed construction estimates by analyzing blueprints, specifications, and project plans using tools such as HeavyBid, ProCore, Bluebeam, and construction estimating software.
• Develop comprehensive project schedules utilizing , Microsoft Project, or similar project management software to ensure timely completion of milestones.
• Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to establish project scopes, budgets, and timelines.
• Manage project budgets by tracking costs, controlling expenses, and implementing cost management strategies throughout the project lifecycle.
• Oversee construction site activities to ensure adherence to safety protocols, building codes, and environmental regulations while maintaining high standards of quality.
• Lead project teams by assigning tasks, managing schedules, and fostering effective communication among all stakeholders for seamless project execution.
• Review construction plans and specifications thoroughly; interpret blueprints and technical drawings such as Civil 3D files to guide on-site activities.
• Ensure projects comply with all relevant construction regulations and contractual obligations while managing risks proactively.
• Monitor progress through regular site visits; adjust schedules as needed to address delays or unforeseen issues while maintaining overall project momentum.
• Prepare detailed reports on project status, budget performance, and schedule adherence for executive review and client updates.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in construction management with a focus on infrastructure or commercial projects; civil or heavy civil background preferred.
• Strong proficiency in construction estimating tools such as HeavyBid; familiarity with ProCore, Bluebeam, Prolog is highly desirable.
• Extensive knowledge of project scheduling software including Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project; ability to develop and manage complex construction schedules.
• Hands-on construction site experience with a solid understanding of construction plans, blueprints reading , and technical specifications.
• Demonstrated ability to manage teams effectively in a fast-paced environment; excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Deep understanding of construction regulations, safety standards, and regulatory compliance requirements across various jurisdictions.
• Skilled in contract management, cost control strategies, and budget management for large-scale projects.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently using time management best practices.
• Familiarity with construction management software platforms.
• A valid driver’s license is required to operate a company vehicle for travel to job sites, networking events, and other work-related activities.

Pay: $15.00 per hour
